Add spending with receipt snap
Capture purchases with camera, gallery, or manual entry so budgets and AI stay accurate.
Purpose: Capture every purchase quickly so categories, budgets, and AI stay accurate.
From the + button
- Tap + (or menu → Operations → add).
- Choose how to capture:
- Camera — photograph the receipt
- Gallery — pick existing photos
- Paste / multi — useful for several receipts or bank screenshots (up to 8 images)
- Manual — type amount, merchant, category, date, account - Let AI analyze when prompted; review the prefilled fields.
- Confirm the account (must be one you can write to).
- Save one operation, or save bulk when multiple were detected.
Edit or remove an operation
- Open Operations, find the row (use period / category filters or views: list, merchant, type, category, tags).
- Open detail → Edit, or archive/delete if you have write access.
- Mistakes can often be restored from History.
Tips
- Snap right after paying — don’t batch a week later.
- Crop tightly around the receipt for better AI reads.
- If AI is unavailable, enter manually — accuracy still helps budgets.
- Use clear merchant names so Smart Search and subscriptions work better.
